Voltes V toy and DVD

I just want to ask you guys if the Voltes V toy robot and DVD's is being sold in Japan. Collector's item na ang mga ito sa Pilipinas and I was wondering if it's cheaper sa kanyang land of origin. If ever, mga magkano kaya?

Voltes V was not as popular as Mazinger Z here in Japan. It might be difficult to find one unless the person knows where to look.

Really? I didn't know that. thanks Paul. I guess sa Philippines lang talaga sumikat ang Voltes V. Balita ko sa isang may-ari ng collector shop sa Greenhills, masyado raw mahigpit ang mga may-ari ng Voltes V at hindi ka man lang makakita maski fake toy ng robot na iyan. Going rate ng diecast na robot na yun ay mga Php 25,000! Sa eBay nga, its around $2,000! Grabe talaga!

How about Mazinger Z, Mekanda Robot or Daimos? Marami ba nun sa Japan?

i saw one shop sa odaiba.. mga anime toys ..pang collectors item talaga.. hehe nakaka shock lang ang presyo.. may voltez V .. it cost 80,000 yen .. php 39,000 more or less .. may mekanda robot din.... pero worth it kung talagang hilig mong mag collect... :)

Just 2 weeks ago i got a call from a relative na nagpapahanap ng Voltes 5 figures.
I searched and found out that Bandai (the owner of V5 trademark) plans to release a new line of V5 models. They coded it GX-31. Nang nalaman ko yan nakita ko naman sa site na ito. V5 manga (http://users.animanga.com/voltesv/faq/index.html) ang info tungkol diyan. Scroll down to the lower portion of the page.

Although ang totoong release date ay sa May 20, 2006 (sa sabado) na.
Ang GX-31 ay hindi kalakihan na model ayon sa Bandai product info page ang laki is 140 mm. Ang price ay 16,590 yen. --> (pre-release order kaya ang price ay naging 14,810 yen)
Sabay sabay ang labas niyan sa mga toyshop dito so you better make reservation madali kasing mauubos. Halos lahat ng nasilip ko na online shop ay no-stock na but i managed to slip 1 reservation. ;) (ubos na rin sa amazon-japan at rakuten)

Doctor J, you might also want to try sa megamall basement level. i believe the shop's name is comic quest. they also have a lot of transformers, macross etc. :)

it might be cheaper compared to greenhills. also to save yourself from the risk of your toy getting lost/stolen during shipping.

no problem bro. kaso di rin ako sure kung comic quest nga ba yon.:D pero it existed when i was in the Philippines last year. katapat siya ng A&W tapos banko yong katabi niya security bank or banco de oro i think. before siya dumating don sa gitnang part sa basement(puro arcade like timezone and worlds of fun). don siya sa building kung nasan ang supermarket. di ko alam kung A or B un. medyo maliit siya kaya di pansinin masyado.

daming action figures don. madami kang makikitang transformers don. diecast pa yong iba. prices depend on the condition. merong walang box merong almost mint condition. check it out and see for yourself:)

thanks bro. i found a store through the internet that will sell voltes v within this month and its almost the same price. yun nga lang, sa new york yung store and my cousin lives in las vegas. anyway, i just sent him an email with the stores' address. salamat ulit!

An update:
Last month, merong nag paorder na kamaganak sa akin ng Voltes V figure. Nakuha ko naman ang inorder ko at naipadala na rin sa kanila. Pero nang nakita ko ang Voltes V na ito ay parang bumalik ako sa pagkabata at pati tuloy ako napaorder, :O .
Napagalitan nga ako dito at para daw akong bata :D .

Walang magagawa kako andito na ung Voltes V at i-pang display ko siguro sa opisina.

thanks for the help bossing! i already got the vcd's of voltes v and daimos. di kasi original yung mga dvd's and i have to send it sa U.S. nabili ko na actually yung dvd's but had to buy the vcd's also para di na masita sa amerika.

kakatuwa nga at di ko naisip na magugustuhan ng mga anak kong lalaki yung mga robot nung panahon natin. sila na ngayon ang sumisigaw ng " VOLTES V !!!!!!!!"
