Hi miles!

it's kinda cheezy hearing it in Japanese but here it goes...

僕を君の心に閉じ込めて、キー を捨てて, 僕しか君の心を誰も開けることが出来ないよ うに。。。

i hope that helps... good luck to you, whom ever you want to tell it to.:O

I'm not really a good writer nor a reader but heres my take:

Boku is quite an overdo - good for teenagers or someone trying to be cute or singing in a melody. I often hear or read adults refer to themselves as boku - but as I say unless you are bata pa or you look like one, use it with caution otherwise people you converse with will look at you with a nasty smile.

BTW, You can do away with daremo so it goes a little something like this:

Boku o kimi no kokoro ni tojikomete, kagi o sutete, boku shika kimi no kokoro o hirakeru koto ga dekinai youni...

Ki is fine but if you want to sound a bit authentic - kagi (key) is the word.
If miles is a male use it as is or if not, simply substitute the boku (male) with Watashi or atashi (female) and anata(male) for kimi (female)

Another thing: English or tagalog can easily be translated to their grammatical counterparts in Nihongo, the only problem is - while it may sound correct - it could be void of meaning for the lack of the same cultural experience.

Boku de-su!

Thanks for your illuminating explanation v wrangler:)

akala ko kasi ang ating level of closeness with, at social standing compared sa ating kausap ang nagdedetermine ng paggamit ng personal pronoun tulad ng:

watakushi, watashi, boku, ore
from most formal to most informal

In this case, whoever miles say this words to is most probably his equal and also must be already very close to him. My Japanese friends sometimes get sarcastic and laugh at me when I accidentally use watashi. :D

watakushi: very formal, frequently used in formal occasions - speeches and job interviews

watashi: formal standard, used when talking with your superiors, teachers, bosses. Should not be use with close friends because it gives a signal that you are not close yet to the one you're talking to, or it sounds strange.

boku: neutral, used by everybody (even by females) when talking with their peers, acquaintances, friends

ore: very informal to the point of being rude sometimes, should be used only with close friends, can't be used when talking to superiors and new acquaintances

atashi: only women used this, informal, used when talking with their friends

Pero syempre, tulad nga ng sabi ni v wrangler baka nga pambata lang yung paggamit ng "boku". Hmnn...
