Konnichiwa TF,
I'd like to include presentation sana, like music, photo collage, etc.
I downloaded Picasa by google earlier to check the features, but since Japanese version ang pc, hindi nag-effect ang english reading ng Picasa. I got the Japanese version instead.
Is it possible to download the english version of the software, as is? Also, any good Photo software suggestions that you've personally tried and felt happy with the result? Thanks a lot!

Hello Galadriel
I am not sure if i understood your question correctly.
english installer. Just follow this .
Open your Picasa
Click on the Menu bar
ツール(T) --> オプション(O)
A pop up window will appear
Click on the drop down list with the name
Merong dyang English(UK) & (US), by the way meron ding Tagalog :D.
Pili ka lang dyan then restart the application and your done.

Hello Galadriel,
You can easily switch to English User Interface anytime. Follow the steps below.
Fire up Picasa and click on the Tool tab - ツル(T)

After clicking Option, another window will pop similar to the image below.
Click on the drop-down button then select the language of your preferrence. Tagalog is also available. You can give it a try.

The magic won't start until you close and re-start Picasa. Enjoy.

Hello Yujin & crispee..:) thank you very much po, nasagot yung question ko kahit mukhang magulo yung post ko, gomen ne.
Could i also do the same procedure on other applications? Say, i find another software better than Picasa. Salamat po ulit.

I've been using MyDVD software (http://www.sonic.com/products/consumer/mydvd/default.aspx). This was bundled with the DVD combo drive I bought. Not bad for 8000 yen.

Depende sa settings/programming ng software. Some do not offer such nice switch.

Galadriel,
If simple photo presentation is fine with you, "Photo Story for Windows" by Microsoft will do the job.
You could download the latest version from the link below.

Create slideshows using your digital photos. With a single click, you can touch-up, crop, or rotate pictures. It's that easy!

Hi galadriel,
I will recommend the Windows Movie maker, maraming effects and user friendly sya....after mo natapos presentation mo.....then pag burn and paglagay ng menu titles and other effects I recommend the Sonic 'My DVD' as sir Crispee told you.....
hope nkatulong!
goodluck po!:)

If you want slideshows of your pictures, you only need "Photo Story for Windows" but, if you have movies you'll need "Windows Movie Maker". Please take note that if you edit pictures in Windows Movie Maker you couldn't make the clips active (rotate, zoom, etc) as in Photo Story.
By the way, when I use Window Movie Maker this software always freezes. Maybe my PC is a little bit slow. :-(

for my pictures.. i dont need any software or application to make it pretty organize.. i've used some web hosting for my pictures.. example.. streamload.com and the picturetrail.com
Picturetrail.com is one of alamakers favorite website to keep there pictures alive... it was proven and tested maybe since 10 years ago.. kasi almost 6 years na ako sa alamak.. anjan na at anjan parin ang picturetrail... it also have slideshows and background pattern for your picture or album...
example : The alamakerzzz (http://www.picturetrail.com/alamakerzzz) you will see me here i guess... :D
Either way.. since friendster has its own blog.. you can use it.. and it allows no limit for your picture to be in your site...
It is more safe than keeping my files on cd or any pheripheral devices...
best regards.. sana nakatulong...

Thank you soo much for all the inputs. Really happy to learned all these from you guys :thumb: .
I've been using MyDVD software (http://www.sonic.com/products/consumer/mydvd/default.aspx). This was bundled with the DVD combo drive I bought. Not bad for 8000 yen.Thank you, crispee-san. I might consider buying a software later on. I want to check what options are available first in the net. I am not a tech savvy so i really prefer starting with a simple application. I'll note the suggestion.
pls try WMM (windows media maker)Thanks dr_knockers. I'll check this one.
I will recommend the Windows Movie maker, maraming effects and user friendly sya....after mo natapos presentation mo.....then pag burn and paglagay ng menu titles and other effects I recommend the Sonic 'My DVD' as sir Crispee told you.....Hi dranny. Pero i'll take note of your comments. Salamat ha.

I use Yahoo Photos and friendster for my back-ups. But i prefer to keep them in discs for memories just the same. Btw, thank you for sharing your picture ;) .
