help please: i can't see instant messages that i send out and receive with my yahoo messenger. i've uninstaled and re-installed it many times and enabled scripting already but the problem persists. Has anyone of you encountered this problem, how'd you resolve it? thanks very much

this is strange; so you're just basically looking at a blank chat window? it is possible that your ym problem is not really a ym problem but might be due to a third party program residing on your box.

i was having ym problems before; connection problems. this was tip was given to me by docomo and it worked, you might want to try it and see if it works for you.

- download ad-aware se here http://www.lavasoft.de/software/adaware/
after installation, run a complete system scan. your pc might be infected with malware/spyware/adware that prevents ym from functioning properly

- run a complete system scan from your anti virus program. if you don't have one installed, you can download it here http://free.grisoft.com/doc/1

try uninstalling ym and all it's components. download a new installer. install and retry.

Goto preferences... click on archive option.. there you can set whatever and how you want to keep your chat and voice call history.
