Hi to all TF members; I would like to ask some questions, if you have a good advice it will my pleasure, thank you.
My sister aquired a residence visa through her marriage from a Japanese Citizen 5 years ago and just got her permanent resedent visa 2 years ago. She wanted to invite us(me and my hubby) to visit in Japan. I already knew all the necessary docs from reading the Japanese embassy's website. My sis is still in the Philippines as of this time for a vacation at ang gusto po niya ay magkasabay na kaming tatlo sa pagpunta dyan sa Japan. Now, the question is:
1. Do you think she, herself can invite us without her husbands consent?
2. If yes, can she file and submit all the necessary docs to Japan through mail or courier from here?
3.Gaano po ba kahirap mag apply sa Embassy, ito bay katulad din sa US embassy na phsycology lang ang ginangamit at pagnagkataon na hindi maganda ang mode nang visa officer you will be denied without even looking into your documents?
4. What do you think will be the best REASON FOR VISIT na ilagay sa application when our really reason is for vacation/pleasure purposes lang?
5.Will the Japanese embassy still ask or make us submit documents that pertains our financials to support our stay in Japan?
'sensya na po, medyo may karamihan Q's ko, kasi nag alala lang baka ma deny ang application namin which i think pag nangyari eh, it will be very unfair to us.
Anyway, pag may ma aadvice kayo na base on what you've experienced.
Maraming salamat po in Advance!:type::):):)

Everytime I invite my relatives to visit Japan, I've always advised them to apply for a tourist visa instead of a visiting relatives visa. Mas madaling mag-apply for a tourist visa than a visiting relatives visa kasi lesser ang mga documents na kailangan from my relatives at hindi na kailangan ng documents from me (less hassle).
My 0.2 yen worth.

TO VISIT MY SISTER is valid one?
Thanks ulit ha

Yes she can invite you.
2. If yes, can she file and submit all the necessary docs to Japan through mail or courier from here?
No...you and/or she prepare the documents and you should be the one to submit the documents personally at the jpn embassy in mla or consulate office in cbu or dvo.
4. What do you think will be the best REASON FOR VISIT na ilagay sa application when our really reason is for vacation/pleasure purposes lang?
visiting relatives and sightseeing.
5.Will the Japanese embassy still ask or make us submit documents that pertains our financials to support our stay in Japan?
depende sa explanation o invitation letter ng sister mo.kung sasabihin nyang sasagutin nya ang gastos and/or financially incapable ka para suportahan ang travek mo,i think di na kailangan.pero kung financially capable ka naman, better to submit your financial statements for them to know your financial stability.

Think of it this way. For the Japanese government, mas less siguro ang chances ng isang pinoy who is on a tourist visa to overstay in Japan than one who has relatives here.
When my relatives applied for a tourist visa (on my recommendation), ang bilis naibigay yung visa. Basta complete yung documents na kailangan, walang problema. The first time my father applied for a 'visiting relatives' visa, binusisi ng Japanese embassy yung mga documents galing sa akin.
When applying for a tourist visa, the obvious reason for going to Japan is sightseeing and nothing else. At the Japanese embassy in Manila, if they mention they have relatives in Japan, they will be asked to come back and apply for a visiting relatives visa instead.

ang intindi ko kasi sa tanong mo ay if it is possible for your sis to prepare the dox there in carmen and then she submitt the said dox to jpn by mail.
thats why i qnswered no---bec you must be the one to submit them at the jpn embassy or consulate office.
ps.
may mga kailangan ngang dox from jpn like financial dox ng family ng sis mo,invitation letter, cert of residence, etc.

Hi Ambermatic, Welcome to TF.
Good Luck:)

GANDA_GIRL,
Sorry kung nailito kita, ang ibig ko kasing sabihin na yung DOX na requirments(example: guarantee letter, invitation letter, bank certificates, koseki tohon and ect.ect.) na dapat sana doon ibigay sa Japanese embassy located in JAPAN as a requirments for the invitee ay pwede ba na dito na lang sa pilipinas(japanese embassy) ibibigay, kasi ang invitee na sister ko ay narito sa pinas ngayon at kapag na approved na kami sabay kaming makapunta dyan nang ate ko at asawa ko. which i think/figured it out na hidi siguro pwede. :) :) :)

On what kind of recommendation ba ang pwedeng i attached sa application ng ko if halimbawang TOURIST VISA ang gagamitin ko, kasi pag sinabi mo sa recommendation mo na iimbitahin mo ang SISTER/FATHER mo eh di automatically VISIT RELATIVES VISA kaagad ang classification ng visa ko?

Ang application forms for tourist visa and visiting relatives visa ay separate. When your relatives apply for a tourist visa, they do not need anything from you. When I wrote that I recommended a tourist visa, suggestion sa family ko yun at hindi para sa embassy. Pero kung gusto mo talagang makakuha sila ng visiting relatives visa instead of a regular tourist visa, it's entirely up to you.
