there is still a possibility. kahit sino man papasok dito sa japan, they will be under the evaluation ng immigration here. so, kung di ka papasa or your not eligible to enter here, madedeny ka at A to A ang bagsak mo.

your certificate of eligibility will be used to get a visa on our country. so pagpasok mo here, ang titingnan lang sa iyo eh yong passport mo and your visa. then they will check your records if you are eligible to enter japan or not. you dont need to show your elegibility when you go to immigration dahil di mo na rin hawak yong documents na iyon.:)

striver ang alam ko pag aaply mo ng visa ibabalik din sayo ng japan embassy sa pinas yung C.O.E.& sa immigration sa may airport mo mismo ibibigay yung C.O.E.?

ic... diba yung C.O.E. galing din sa regional immigration bureau, bakit ka pa ma A to A. i mean when you apply for C.O.E. or visa dun palang matinding checking na.:D

It is the government`s disclaimer that the visa is not an assurance that you can enter Japan...Look what happened to Alma Morena..hehehe

Personal experience ko po about COE is, isinauli sya sa amin ng embassy nung nabigyan na kami ng visa and then upon arrival in Japan, kinuha sya ng immigration officer.. but that was sometime 9/2004.

And yes I agree that possession of Japanese visa does not guarantee entry into Japan ports (read that somewhere).

With COE, I think you need a sponsor in Japan..depending if your COE is for work or what..
depende sa visa na gusto mo, iba iba ang mga requirements..but COE is done here in Japan

sorry for my late reply. in my experience, di na binalik sa akin iyong C.O.E(Certificate of Eligibility) ko upon finishing my visa application sa Japanese Embassy sa atin. so, nong papasok na ko immigration sa NAIA non eh wala na akong dalang C.O.E. so yon ang pagkakaalam ko. maybe it depends sa visa mo kung anong type nya. kaya siguro iyong iba eh hawak hawak pa yong C.O.E. pagpapunta na sila dito.

there is still a possibility na ma A to A, kahit kumpleto ka na ng papers. marami kasi ngayon ang namemeke at iyong checking ng immigration here in Japan is very strict. so kung alam mo ng peke ang ilang papers mo, may daga na sigurong tatakbo sa dibdib mo. with their high technology being applied in the screening and checking, di ka makakalusot. its a miracle na lang siguro if nakalusot ka.:)

papers needed for application of C.O.E depends on what type you are applying for. most common sa atin na inaaply is C.O.E. for working visa and C.O.E. for dependent visa. ito lang din ang medyo detalyado ako. for working visa, you needed papers from your employer. a contract or details of your work, and some papers about the company of your employer, then some scholastic records of your own. maybe TOR and diploma. mostly ang scholastic records that you must have is on technical course. kasi pag di ka tapos ng technical course eh sandamukal na ang tanong sa iyo.

for C.O.E of dependent visa, papers that shows your relation to the person you will aplly for. marriage certificate, birth certificate. etc. but there is also a need to submit some papers of your independency here in japan.:)

what do you mean by past visit? you mean your visit history here in japan? i think there is no need to show documents to prove that. your passport will be the one that will prove that. one more thing is that it is recorded on their database. by the way, are you already here in Japan? if it is so, there is no need for C.O.E. application. all you have to do is change your visa status to working visa. and the documents needed is the same also above. :)
