Why use bootcamp when there is a software called parallels. See how parallels work:

I have nothing to do with the company. Was just impressed by how it works.

Like to share this one also.
Another sample video (made here in Japan ;) ), showing the use of Parallels on the MacBook. There are actually three, yes 3 operating systems running in one machine.
The Mac OS , Linux Ubuntu , Windows XP.

When you think you've seen & done them all in a computer. Think again. :) enjoy!

A 512 mb memory just won't cut it if parallels is installed. The minimum memory running should be at least 1 GB. I am impressed although I have yet to read a performance review of windoze running on a Macbook using parallels. Meanwhile, this one runs windoze as a window in OS X (a Japanese Mac user)

Found this on google.
Windows XP runs “insanely great” on the MacBook Pro, better than any authentic PC I’ve used. Its fast, stable, and best of all can be run inside OS X with Parallels Workstation. I highly recommend this machine to anyone.
More on his review at macwindows.com (http://www.macwindows.com/bcreview.html)
Yup, Parallels (http://www.parallels.com) is a good implementation of virtualization technology, much better than dual-booting using BootCamp (didn't I mention this already in the Macs run Windows thread (http://www.timog.com/forum/showthread.php?p=740 10#post74010)?).
Anyway, I still think it would be better if Leopard would run Windoze apps natively without the need for running another OS. Kinda like having a version of WINE (http://www.winehq.com/) that really works.

I wont be surprised if Jobs and company incorporates a 'parallels' like feature in Leopard. Perhaps Gates and company may just pull out a surprise and allow PCs to multiboot with Mac OS...anything can happen.

Let me ask you brothers...It is not impossible to a machine running different OS environment but what is the main or primary OS running on a machine? When you first open or boot the computer.. what was the OS that you have to log on first for you to be able to operate other machine's OS simultaneously?
What i mean is.. the native OS running in a machine...
Depends on what type of machine and what type of multiple OS solution you're using.
For example, Boot Camp is a dual-boot solution. So you choose which OS to use on startup. Whichever OS you choose would be running natively on that machine (Macs with Intel processors).
Parallels makes use of Intel Virtualization Technology to run multiple OSes in virtual machines within OS X. This is a lot faster than previous solutions that used emulation software (like Virtual PC on Power PC Macs) because the virtual machines can make direct calls to the hardware since the hardware is now common to the different operating systems.
Similar solutions exist for PCs running on Intel or AMD hardware.
