no,di sya pwedeng mag change ng visa directly fron V.Visa to W.Visa pero pwede syang makapag apply ng COE para makakuha ng working visa at kung abutan sya ng release ng COE before matapos ang visa nya,may posibilidad na pwedeng di na sya umuwi at diretso na.
heto ang mga kailangan nya.
A.employee/brod mo
1. TOR, university diploma and other education credentials
2.personal info
3. explanation for employment
4.others
B.employer who is willing to hire your brod and can provide copies for the ff dox
1.法人登記簿謄本-registration of company
2.法人納税証明書-company tax payment cer
3.損益計算書-PL statement
4.理由-eplanation letter
5.労働契約-employment contract
note:
it is important na kahit paano ay related ang course nya sa magiging wrk nya sa jpn.

Hi Arlyn!
I have positive news for you! It is very POSSIBLE..I did the same thing. I came here with a tourist visa then just changed my visa to working here in Japan.
This is to inform other member because this was a new change sa immigration. Many people would exit Japan just to apply for a working visa.
I think the concept of COE has been discussed to you so I dont have to deal with that. Basta you have to get that COE.
Before, You have to leave JAPAN to apply for working visa in a Japanese embassy or consulate. So others would go to Korea, in our case, balik pilipinas.
The main concern would be to get the COE, and its better if their is still enough time in your borther`s tourist visa when he wants to change it. Like a month before mag expire.
The application is simply, change of status (sa visa).
Whats going to happen is that if you have the COE, you will go to the immigration, bring your passport (of course) and COE and apply for "change of Status"..the immigration would stamp the passport and wait ka na lang sa working visa...
May bonus pa, if your visa would expire and wala pa ang working visa..You are still a legal alien here. The passport that has been stamped proves that the working visa is on the way..
So good luck!

While it may be technically possible - one deciding factor is whether you have an employer willing to take the brother in, just like ganda_girl explained. So its not just a matter of applying for a Change of Visa Status - you would still need an employer to help you out with the COE.

I was already assuming that there is an employer or COE in hand...
