In regards sa pag coconvert po ng Jap PC to English

Actually wala naman po convertion na nangyayari dahil buburahin or papalitan natin ng Operating OS ang iyong PC

Kung meron ka na po English OS system ano po ba ang balak mo buburahin ang Japanese OS then lalagayn ng English?

or gusto mo 2 ang Operating System ng PC mo 1 english and 1 Japanese?

Take note mo po ang driver ng mga devices mo po. (Model and manufacurer)
Back up mo po ang impt data sa PC

kung me problema POST ka lang sa TF pra matulungan ka.. Screenshot of error will be much appreciated.

Regarding sa tanong mo, gusto mo bang gawin is install english Operating System (OS) to your machine with japanese OS currently installed ? If so, You can do the following steps.

I presume na hindi ka newbie sa computer at may idea ka na sa mga terms na nakasulat dito at meron ka ng experience sa installation ng OS at formatting ng hard disk.

1. Back up important files and data.
2. Check the model or type of your PC peripherals, like video card, sound card etc.etc. Better to prepare the necessary drivers for them before hand. (Depende kung ano ang version ng bagong english OS na ilalagay mo, ex. win2k, winXP, linux etc.etc.)
3. Prepare the installer for your new english OS, preferably bootable CD.
4. Prepare bootable DOS CD or floppy with fdisk utility.
5. Boot PC with DOS, format hard disk using fdisk.
6. Boot PC using new english OS installer, install the new OS.
7. Kapag natapos na lahat yan at successfully nainstall na bagong OS. Do the folllowing:
Kung windows ang nilagay mong bagong OS do this: (most likely winXP siguro ang balak mong install)
Japanese input for WinXP (http://www.greggman.com/japan/xp-ime/xp-ime.htm)
You may need to do this too. Install Japanese Keyboard (http://www.daydream.org.uk/meng/jpkbnt4/).

The problem is wala akong english OS to change my japanese, and besides im worried since i cant read the japanese menus, baka il miss some of the important files kapag nag back-up naako. can you suggest someone who can do it personaly?, and i wanna find out the cost too. thanks

yes it wanna change my japanese OS to english OS, problem i dont have english(OS) installer. Besides and prolem ko talaga eh! hindi ko mabasa yung mga jap menus ko...useless talaga. kaya i think its impossible do it on my own.

License Issue ...kailangn bumili ka po ng Windows OS English license (arount 1man)
PErson to do...medyo mahal pa service eh sigurado 1 man yan pag service...

kung dto ka sa tokyo marami.. heheheee or send mo sakin ako ang mag coconvert..:D

I don't think this is the right way to help. What you do in the privacy of your home is none of our business, but using the forum to encourage an illegal act such as software piracy is definitely our business. In fact, it's clearly stated in the forum rules.

To rheat21, if you want to install an English OS without having to shell out any money, why not try Linux? It's free (you can download it from the internet), and it's very easy to install (try Ubuntu (http://www.ubuntu.com/Welcome)). All the applications you need for regular home use are already included, too.

Hello Reat21, pwede mo bang i post kahit yung model number lang ng pc mo para makita natin ang spec. nya? Kung malakas ang loob mo at handa kang tanggapin anuman ang kalabasan ng pc mo kahit ikaw kaya mong i convert yan sa english with simple instructions! Vectra can do it for you if you wish! kung newbie ka sa PC mahihirapan ka ngang i operate ang PC mo..pero kung dati ka na wala namang problem yun kac almost lahat ng menus na nandoon pareho rin sa english OS.i mean kung d man mabasa yun pa rin yun. ano ba ang model ng PC mo? is it desktop or note PC? try mo munang i check sa net kung avilable ang support para sa PC mo ..like drivers etc.
most of all kailangan meron kang installer CD. kahit newbie sa bagong operating system (eg,Winxp) walang hirap kac nandoon naman ang step by step procedure babasahin mo lang. not like yung mga naunang OS(operating system) gagamit ka ng DOS (fdisk)minsan covered na lahat ng drivers pag ini load mo ang bagong OS winxp .turo ko sa yo procedure pag meron ka ng installer cd.
d2 sa tokyo sa akihabara merong mga OEM they sell it for Y13,000~15,000 im sure meron din sa lugar nyo na mabibilhan ng english OS like PC depot or like.

haayy...naku po medyo mahihirapan po tayo sa ganyang kalagayan hehheee...

Mahirap po mag covnert ng PC from Jap to English ..kung wala ka technical background
and kung ayaw mo po mag purchase ng License ng Windows.

I used Gentoo Linux.. but honestly medyo mahihirapn ka po mag install kahit ano ang idownload mo sa net kung wala ka po technical backgroun..

You need someonce who can sit besides you and guide you accordingly..

latest laptop na nai-convert ko sa English is Toshiba Dynabook AX/840LS. lahat ng drivers nito nasa harddisk. hidden lang ang attribute kaya di basta basta nakikita. :D
