I want to share this story of our kababayan here in Japan who is fighting for cancer, he must be dead right now, but thanks God he is still alive.
Here is his testimony given to Aino Kyokai (Church of Love) at Iruma, Saitama, Japan, June 18, 2006

CHRIST IS ALIVE AND HE IS LIFE
Greetings to everyone in Jesus Name. My name is Brother Boy Victorino, and I am a Filipino. I am here with my family, my wife Lyn and my twin sons, Akira and Akiro to testify that God is alive and He is life Himself.
I was born a catholic and I came here to Japan as a musician, a guitarist of a band. My life before was not very desirable and Christ is not my first priority. This is the first time that I make a testimony in a church of what God did in my life.
Last year around June, I was very sick and went to Misato Byoin(hospital). There, the doctor diagnosed that I have an advanced cancer of the colon and I was there for a month. The doctors told me to just go back to the Philippines since I just have 3 months to live.
If I will undergo operation, aside from the expense, there is no guarantee of prolonging my life since the cancer has gone to other parts of my body. The doctor spoke to my family and my sisters to send me back as soon as possible, they even begged me.
I was already weak and very pale and deathly. I went out of the hospital but I still did not find it in my heart to go back to the Philippines that my sisters and their husbands felt bad and unhappy about my decision.
A week after I came out of Misato Byoin, I remember meeting Sylvia Ikezawa who is a member of Jesus Fellowship telling me that they have a fellowship each Sunday at the 7th floor of Itoyokako in Kameari, which is near my home.
I and my family went there one morning but i told Lyn not to speak of my situation, yet Lyn told one sister who in turn told Pastor Ida. I was called in front to be prayed over. Pastor Ida asked me what will I do if God causes me to live longer. I said, I will offer it to the Lord and serve Him. She then gave me a scripture in Psalm 118:17 to memorize and to confess every moment because God's power is in His Word. The Scripture is "I WILL NOT DIE BUT I WILL LIVE AND I WILL DECLARE THE GLORY OF GOD."
That week our oyasan referred me to a doctor who referred me to Bokuto Byoin. There, they have the same findings but they said they will operate me, but I have to go back to my country since there is no guarantee that I will heal. I still cling to the scriptures and kept on confessing it, "I will not die but I will live and I will declare the glory of God" and just hope in God. I also said that if I came out of the operating table alive, I will go right away to church who prayed for me in Kameari. The scripture made me hopeful and kept me stronger.
After a month, Sept. 9, 2005 I was discharged but the doctor told me that I have ONLY SIX MONTHS TO LIVE. The doctors words brought discouragement but I just continue to believe that I will not die but I will live. Through all the days i was there, I just confess the scripture that was given me because I know of nothing.
Yes, I prayed but I didn't know the power of the Word! That Sunday after I was out of the hospital, I went back to the church to give my thanksgiving.
Daily, the Lord is giving me strength. Meanwhile, the Lord is also doing a lot of things in my life. He set my life in order, Lyn and I was married in December 4, and our 2 sons were dedicated to Him and my attitude slowly changes. God has provided also for all our daily needs. I was able to go back to my job at the construction las December and now, I am serving the Lord through playing the guitar in the music ministry of Jesus Fellowship.
My brother and sisters, it's now 10 months since I had my operation and I am still here, not only alive but strong in His power. With man, it may be impossible but with God nothing is impossible. My life now is in His hands, I don't know how long I will live, no one among us knows how long we shall live or earth but I give Him the glory for giving me life. So I shall serve Him.
Now I see that life is beautiful. I encourage you, let us offer our lives as a living sacrifice unto God, let us also take care of our bodies by eating healthy foods and not abusing our bodies with sins and vices.
My brethen, our God is powerful, and there is nothing impossible with Him. He is life Himself and He is in you and in me if you received Him in your life.
I give God all the glory and honor for allowing me to see and experience His power and goodness and for giving me not only additional days here on earth but also everlasting life.

This is long, but I cried in this story. And what else this is not a fiction, it is a true story.
