You've probably heard of this story by now. The update: Sef Gonzales, the Philippine-born Australian who murdered his family was sentenced to three life terms.

I've read about this months ago when Sef Gonzales was still on trial. It's a sad story, an immigrant Filipino dream gone wrong. However unfortunate their fates were, I can't help thinking that his parents contributed to this tragedy by not bringing up their son in a proper way. Of course, this is a harsh judgment and I may be wrong.
