We do copy various data by Ctrl+c or Right-Click mouse then Copy -- for pasting elsewhere. Did you know that these copied data are stored in the Clipboard and are accessible from the net by simple combination of short programs ?
Ang CLIPBOARD po ay temporary memory sa inyong Operating System kung saan na-store ang mga data na inyong kinopya. For a detailed explanation. Click here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clipboard_(software) ).
If possible, DO NOT keep sensitive data (like credit card numbers, bank login/ passwords, PIN, date of births, etc.) in the clipboard while surfing the web using your browser. Instead make a habit of typing them always.
It is extremely easy to extract the text stored in the clipboard to steal your sensitive information. Here is a little experiment showing how any unscrupulous website can easily steal information stored in your Clipboard.
1.) Copy any text from your computer by highlighting ang pressing the Ctrl (Control key) and "C". You can also right-click the highlighted text then click Copy.
2.) Then access this page (http://www.friendlycanadian .com/applications/clipboard.htm).
Voila, the page then displays the data stored in your clipboard. Do you see it ?
Mahirap maiwasan gamitin ang Ctrl + C at copy function.
Fortunately there is another solution for this. You need to make some changes in the settings of your browser. Here is what you need to do if you use Internet Explorer.
1) Go to インターネットオプション [Internet Option] --> Click the セキュリティ [Security] Tab.
This window will come up.
3631
2) Click the レベルカスタマイズ [Custom Level] button. This window will appear.
3632
3) Select 無効にする [Disable] under the スクリプトによる貼り付け処理 の許可 [Disable the Allow Paste Operations via Script.]. Click OK. All done.
Sa panahon ngayon ng mga Internet Scams at Cyber-Crimes mabuti na ang nag-iingat. :)
