'hoping for some open-mindedness and open-heartedness for those who will read this thread. You may as well post your good reflections here as you wish. Thank you.

Here is my 1st reflection:

1. My reflection about the invisible (incoporeal) God:

God is without form. If we should conceive of Him as large, He is
infinitely large, and if we should conceive of Him as small, He is
infinitely small.
Does God really exist? Can God be felt as more real than the pain that
makes you say ouch when someone pinches you, or more real than
the experience of eating when you are hungry? This is the question.
We have a mind. The mind is invisible and may not appear to exist;
yet it exists. Does it exist in the head, or in the heart? Mind exists
throughout your body, with not even one cell within your body where
it is not present. The same is true for God. Because this world is like
His body, He is present everywhere in the world.
You cannot see God. Can you see energy? Since God is the original
body of energy, you cannot see God even in the spirit world.
The wise, all-knowing, and omnipotent God thought that it was most
convenient to rule as an incorporeal being who could move around
freely in the midst of things.
Since God has no form, He can pass through things at will without any
problem. God may come to your body and pass through it, but you
would not notice. When you doze off, God may walk on your body as
He pleases without you noticing. How convenient! So it is plausible to
say that God chose to remain invisible because He thought that it
would be most convenient.
We are normally unaware of the air around us. The air is there, but we
do not feel it. If we unaware of the air circulating around us, how can
we be aware of God?
It is most convenient for God to remain invisible. At the same time,
He has to be more than big enough to wrap around this huge universe.
Although God is without form, He requires a mind that is bigger than
this universe.
Do all of you here have love? Do you have life? You all have sperm or
ova to continue your lineage, dont you? Do you also have a
conscience? Then, have you ever seen love? Have you seen life,
lineage or conscience? Although you know they exist, you can neither
touch nor see them. You can know about them only by feeling them
through your mind and heart. Likewise, when you are asked whether
God exists, or whether you have seen Him, you cannot say that you
have not seen Him.
When God is in your heart, your heart knows it. When God is in your
heart, you can break through the protective walls and communicate
with the saints who died thousands of years ago. You can do this
when the eternal God comes into your heart. You cannot capture
eternity through time; time exists within eternity. That is why even
though we cannot see God, our hearts know Him.
How does God love? This is a difficult question to answer, isnt it?
Since God is without form, He can go anywhere inside a ladys eyes,
inside her heart... He can go everywhere. There is nowhere He cannot
go. Then, where does God live? Where is His home? Gods home is in
the middle of our heart. Gods masculine heart lives in the heart of
man, and Gods feminine heart lives in the heart of woman.
What if God decided to remove all the air in the world, leaving only
one gallon? It would be a naughty method, but if God did that, world
unification would be no problem. Perhaps He would be able to do it in
five minutes. If God took away all the air and asked, Will you unify or
not?, all humankind would shout in unison, We will! God could unite
the world in an instant using this method, but we are thankful that
God does not do that with the air. Without air we cannot live. Air is
absolutely necessary for life. Yet people gulp air like thieves without
feeling grateful for it.
This universe is veiled in mystery. This great universe is some 21
billion light years across. One light year is the distance light travels in
a year. Light can circle the earth seven and a half times in one second,
so you can begin to conceive of how far light travels in a year. Then,
how large must the Master be who can rule this huge universe? If God
had a body, how tall would He be? If God is as large as we say He is,
would He be able to drag His cumbersome body around? How
inconvenient it would be if He had to lumber about like that! Every
time He moved the universe would fall over in surprise. God is a wise
being. This is why He decided to be an invisible Lord.
Have you ever thought about Gods weight? How heavy do you think
He is? How many kilograms does He weigh? Perhaps billions of tons?
If He were that heavy, He would have a big problem trying to move
around. But it is ideal for God that He is incorporeal. Even if you carry
Him inside your wallet, you will not feel any weight.
Since He has no form, He can even go in and out through the eye of
the smallest needle. In other words, He can move around at will.
Being infinitely large yet also infinitely small, He is free to move
around anywhere in the universe.
If you have something you consider most precious, you will want to
carry it with you at all times. You will not want to be separated from it
even for a moment. Then if God, the greatest treasure of them all,
was in your possession, where would you like to attend Him? Is there
a store room where you can store Him securely, where you can attend
Him? That place is none other than your heart and mind. The human
heart and mind form the store room where God can be safely
attended.
Since God is without form, the conclusion is that He should give more
importance to beings with form than He does to Himself. Only then
will things begin to turn. Conversely, human beings should value their
invisible mind and God more than their bodies.

My Reflection

I am now
In a world where I have to
Hide my heart
And what I believe in
But somehow
I will show the world
What’s inside my heart
And be loved for who I am

Whenever I look at the beauty of men and women, I'm always wondering whether there was any way that God could have created us better than we are. What would make a man more handsome or a woman more beautiful? I have imagined making the two eyes totally round, the nose square, the ears upside down, and wondered whether that would make a person more beautiful. But every time I come to the conclusion that no one can improve upon the way our Heavenly Father made men and women.
Truly each one of us is a masterpiece of God's creation. Some men and women may wonder why they couldn't be prettier or more handsome. But don't think that way; you are God's masterpiece. No matter what, God worked very hard to make you just as you are. Even if someone condemns himself as ugly, when you look at that person you can find some special characteristic that nobody else has.
Basically, God has only four items to work with: eyes, nose, mouth and ears-and furthermore, He always has to put them in the same area. But still in that limited realm, God created an infinite variety of faces! God uses only four items to create the human face but no two of them are identical; each is unique. So there is an incredible mysterious beauty among the 6.5 billion people out there. Each face is different, although it has the same four components. I cannot think of any better miracle. Suppose you were given the task of taking eyes, nose, mouth and ears and combining them to come up with 6.5 billion different faces. Could you do it? When I consider those 6.5 billion faces, the mystery is so great that I am filled with a feeling of awe. There is no way to avoid feeling gratitude and awe, surprise and shock at this fact. I always feel that it is our duty to live with confidence and pride in being a masterpiece of God's creation.

I believe that in God's eyes, there is no such thing as ugly or beautiful. Also there
is no such thing as Orientals,Whites, and Blacks. Just think of the different colors
they are only our complexions. Because of the weather, because of geography,
because of the situation from all our ancestral lines, we have different complexions.
The climate caused that, but we are different only on the surface. Underneath,
we come from the same God. We cannot change the original form of things because
there is deep reasoning behind it. God had a reason for making things a certain way.
Western eyelashes should be long to protect the eyes adequately. The Oriental eye
is not as deep-set, and doesn't need such long eyelashes. Some Oriental women,
thinking their short eyelashes are unseemly, wear artificial eyelashes, but to my thinking
that is stupid and ugly looking. Also, instead of giving White people black or very dark
eyes, God gave them blue or lighter-colored eyes, and the contrast between the iris and
white of the eye is not as strong. But in Black and Oriental people who have very dark or
black irises, the contrast is vivid and attractive.
Would everyone without exception like to have blue eyes? How about having a blue
tongue or blue skin and teeth? Why did God give blue eyes to some people? The people
who have white skin, high noses and blond hair need some contrast, and so God gave
them blue eyes, like two little ponds. Because American noses are so high their eyes are
very deep; you have to peer in several miles to see their eyes! If they had black eyes at the bottom of such deep wells they would look fearful, almost evil in a way. Having
lighter color eyes creates beauty and harmony in a much more dramatic wave. Imagine
a person laughing whose teeth were all black. He would look like a monster! When you
examine the creation you know that God is really an artist, and that no better harmony
could have been created. Everything is interestingly blended, with people having
precisely the features which would harmonize with a certain color face.
In Black people, who have dark complexions, the whites of the eyes stand out
beautifully; whereas in White people the contrast is not as strong. In laughter, when
the pink tongue shows in between white teeth, the contrast is most vivid and sensational in Black people. For similar reasons, Black people have thicker lips. God gave balance by emphasizing certain characteristics in the different races, but the total result is equality.
In most cases today, this civilization is trying to destroy or downplay certain original
qualities in people, instead of trying to enhance them.

I feel this particular line describes a certain aspects of my inner self because I feel that everyone is equal.I am againsts discrimination..I think if we could accept everyone or at least give a fair chance...I bet this world would be a better place to live in.:)

If Adam and Eve had become such perfect individuals, then in their life in the Garden of Eden would they ever have needed prayer, a religious life, or a savior? Why would prayer have been necessary for those who were continuously living and communicating directly with God? If a religious life is a life of faith in which fallen man desperately gropes in darkness in search of the God he lost, then why should a perfect person who lives his daily life as a temple of God (1 Corinthians 3:16) have need of any form of worship? Thus, if man had not fallen in the Garden of Eden, there would be no churches or Bibles, no sermons, no all-night prayer vigils, no revival meetings, nor the like. All each person would need to do is live as the embodiment of goodness, attending God in his everyday life. Just as those who are not drowning have no need of a rescuer, perfected people, who are sinless, have no need of a savior.:halo:

My 4th Reflection

Which comes first, life or love? Which is it?
For God, love did not exist before He did; love came to exist after
God existed. That is why, for God, life comes first and love comes
second, but for human beings love comes first and life comes second.

Who is a better person: someone who is willing to sacrifice love
to sustain life, or someone who is willing to sacrifice life for the sake
of love? Who is closer to the truth? One who sacrifices his life to
attain love is I think better and closer to what is true. This is
because the one who is willing to sacrifice love for life is self-centered,
whereas the one who is willing to sacrifice life for love is not.
