Christian burglars?

I read in the newspaper a couple of days ago about two men who robbed a house and found a 13 year old boy there.They told him they would not hurt him and they joked around with him and when they left-with the family's laptops,jewelry and other stuff,one of the men told the boy "god bless ou".:confused:

I am glad that they did not harm the boy.....I do not know if they were Christian robbers or not,but i feel that we should pray for them that if they were not saved
that they will be saved,and that if they are saved and backslidden,that they will return to the Lord and repent for their crimes.

I am not katuray, but I could explain what it is.

To simplify, saved means to be not cast to the lake of fire, and be able to go to heaven and received eternal life.

To further:

Ephesians 2:8-9
For it is by God's grace that you have been saved through faith. It is not the result of your own efforts, but God's gift, so that no one can boast about it.

Jesus provides salvation by grace through faith. We cannot earn it. People are saved by believing God's Word
We must receive Christ's free salvation. Repentance precedes faith, then forgiveness of sins, and confess Romans 10:9-10 If you confess that Jesus is Lord and believe that God raised Him from dead, you will be saved. For it is by our faith that we are put right with God; it is by our confession that we are saved.
When a person confesses his faith in Jesus as Lord, the Holy Spirit regenerates the spirit of the person. The Bible calls this being saved or "born again."
John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

The gospel of Christ is "the power of God unto salvation,to everyone that believeth"(Romans 1:16)..The word "gospel " means "good news,"not "good advice"..It does not tell us what we must do and not do in order to earn salvation,but rather what Christ has done to provide salvation as a free gift."For by grace are u saved by faith; and that not of yourselves;it is the gift of God;Not of works,lest anyone should boast"(Ephesians 2:8,9).

Every other religion under the sun,whether pseudo-Christian or non-Christian,panders to man's pride by teaching him there is something he can do to earn,or to help in earning, his own salvation..Only true Biblical Christianity recognizes man as he really is,utterly lost in sin,destined for eternal separation from God..The gospel, "by which you are saved", is the glorious news that "Christ died for our sin"(1 Corinthians 15:1-3),and that we can be saved by grace,through personal faith in Christ,plus nothing else whatever!...One who is trully saved by God's grace in Christ will,of course ,then seek to follow Christ and His Word in all things,not to earn salvation,but in love and gratitude for His glorious gift of cleansing and everlasting life...

for your explanations, i have a christian friend and he already mentioned to me about the
Romans way of salvation, here it is:

1. Romans 3:10 - As it is written, There is NONE righteous, no, NOT ONE.

2. Romans 3:23 - For ALL have SINNED, and come short of the glory of God.

3. Romans 6:23 - For the WAGES of SIN is DEATH; but the GIFT of God is ETERNAL LIFE
through Jesus Christ our Lord.

4. Romans 5:8 - But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet
SINNERS, Christ DIED FOR US.

5. Romans 10:13 - For WHOSOEVER SHALL CALL upon the name of the Lord SHALL BE
SAVED.

6. Romans 10:9 - That if thou shalt CONFESS with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt
BELIEVE IN THINE HEART that God hath raised him from the dead,
THOU SHALT BE SAVED.


I know, I am sinner too, that's why I am trying my best to understand all of these before it's

Nakaka touch ka naman blaine. I believe God see what's really deep inside your heart. Iyong sikat na sikat na bible verse na.... "seek and you will find .........." palasak na palasak pero totoo iyan. Even though we understand those, but didn't apply it, the price is heavier that those who still don't know it. Though we know it or not, we will be judge unto it.

Just continue to have an open heart to seek His face. Patuloy lang ang pagbabasa nang bibliya, at pagsaliksik nito .... and you will see .... Word of God is food for our souls .... and we can only feed our souls by reading the Bible.

And of course, hearing from our church leaders are good, and assymbly with the body of Christ are also part of growing. All you have to do is to ask God in prayer to lead you to a proper place where Christ is the true foundation, and Bible is their basic instructor.
