Firewall

Mga kaTF ask ko lang paano ba mag-alis ng Firewall at anong software ang dapat ko download para maalis ito. Kapag nagdownload kasi ako ng Yahoo Messenger may lumalabas ng Message na nakafirewall at may kailangan akong software na idownload.:( Window XP po gamit namin. At isa ko pa sana tanong, puwede ba ako magdownload ng Yahoo Messenger na di lalabas doon sa program ng husband ko? Kasi magkaiba kami ng file na gamit at kapag ng download ako pati doon sa kanyang file lumalabas yung Yahoo Messenger. At kapag delete ni hubby yung Yahoo Messenger na download ko pati sa akin nawawala.:( May paraan ba? Ayaw ko kasi bumili pa ng PC nanghihinayang ako sa pera at isa pa wala naman ako pambibili.:rolleyes: Sana may makaintindi sa thread ko. Maraming salamat sa magrereply at sa magbabasa.:D :D

Halu sis!:) di mo kailangang magdownload ng software kung gusto mong idisable yung Firewall ng pc mo.
Click Start button,then control panel tapos hanapin mo yung icon na windows firewall,i-double click mo sya tapos pag lumabas yung window na ganito

piliin mo yung nasa baba na may x na pula,para madisable mo yung firewall.then click ok:)

You mean you and your husband is using a computer as different users?

Then you should download Yahoo!Messenger to somewhere in the folders that are exclusively your own.
Opening the Explorer will show you which folder is your own.

If you two are using a computer as a same user, and don’t want to make it 2:
I think the best way is to disable the Yahoo! Messenger from the Startup.
You manually open and close Yahoo Messenger each time you want to use it.

Here’s how to disable a file in startup
スタート→ファイル名を指定して実行（Ｒ） →(you input) msconfig→スタートアップ
Then remove the check in the box that you want to disable.
And then restart the Windows.

There are other ways to make independent start up of YM without using msconfig.
Kapag nag-log in ang asawa mo at nag-start up at login din
ang YM. Click "Messenger tab" > "Preferences" > "General" >
then unclick the box "Automatically start Yahoo Messenger with Voice.

With this, hindi na mag-start ang YM sa hubby mo, pero mag-
automatic start pa rin sa yong account log-in.

Thanks sa lahat ng nagreply sa thread na ito.:D Inalis ko na yung firewall kaso after one hour binalik ulit.:( :mad: Di bale gaman muna ako sa ngayon, ayaw kasi ng husband ko ng magdownload ako kasi ginagamit daw nya itong pc namin sa work nya nakakastorbo daw.:rolleyes: Thanks talaga at least may bago na naman akong kaalaman:D

Pwede na man gumamit ng ym na may firewall. Edit mo lang ang connection preference tapos piliin ang "Firewall with no proxies". ;)
