Mga Ka-TF, do you know that you can still access instant messaging system from absolutely anywhere without even installing the specific client based application?
You can do it by simply go to www.meebo.com (http://www.meebo.com) and you can use their web instant messenger service that supports some well known IM system like AIM, ICQ, YM, MSN, GTalk and Jabber. Log-on with any of those IM, of course with your account name & password and click sign-on then that's it. :)
Cool...

I think this is same also like Miranda... isang instant messger pero me capability pra mareceive mo ang ibang msgs sa ibang IM...
It's different fom Miranda. Miranda is a standalone software. Meebo.com is a web application. With Miranda, you won't be able to access the IM servers if the ports used by these services are blocked by your sysad. With meebo.com you would still be able to access the IM services even if only port 80 is open, unless your sysad blocks the domain itself.
Another web app that has multi-service IM messaging is goowy.com (http://goowy.com). It's a good example of a Web 2.0 application. It's a web desktop with free email, RSS reader, online storage, personal organizer, games, and other useful features.
