*"wakaranai kara" ay tama pero masmagandang gamitin ay "wakaranai node" or "wakarimasen no de"
or:
nihongo amari wakarimasen no de, yukkuri hanashite itadakemasen ka?
2. Could you please help me where I can find this shop ?
kono omise isshou ni sagashite moraimasen ka?
or
kono omise ikitaino desu ga...(douyatte ikeba ii desu ka? )

i like browsing this forum kasi it helps me with my nihongo studies. i am currently taking up advance nihongo lessons at a community center near us. we recently tackled a lesson for using "shika". "shika" is always attach to a negative form of a verb, which means: be only blah blah blah. tama ba analysis ko? the equivalent of "shika + ....nai or nakatta" is "dake"

If i understand this correctly, the sentence below means: I only understand nihongo, sorry could you speak a little bit slowly?

Sana po may maglinaw nito agad. Sorry ahccofharyne! no harm meant for you. medyo lito pa rin kasi ako sa paggamit ng "shika"
nihongo mada chotto shika wakaranai kara, sumimasen desu ga, mou chotto yukkuri
hanashite moraimasen ka?

yung sentense kasi may chotto. bale chotto+shika lumalabas.... only a little.
pag "I only understand nihongo..." it goes " Nihongo shika wakarimasen..." pag may chotto shika"only a little"...

pasensha na hindi ko rin maexplain masyado...(to anyone there: help)

@nokiko, thanks for follow up ...watashi mo benkyo ni narimashita.
