Timog Forum is 2 years old today!

Time flies and we all get older, including our website. It seems only yesterday when I wrote the very first post in Timog Forum and 2 years and 2,500 members later, we have built an online community that is disorderly at times, but mostly helpful and fun. Our gratitude goes to the moderators who generously give their time to maintain this website; to the helpful members who patiently give advice and pointers to those who need them; and to all the members who make this website a welcome place for everyone.

Omedeto gozaimasu to Timog Forum for your 2nd year anniversary and Hajimemashite to you all.

Though i have been in Tokyo for the past 3 and a half months, it is just now that i found out about this forum.

I am here for a long term training program on Personnel Management sponsored by the Japanese government. I am with 16 other gtrainees from Asia and unfortunately, i am the only Filipino. This is part of the reason why i have been trying to get in touch with kababayans here because i miss speaking Tagalog and having conversations without resorting to mimes and hand gestures to be understoood. I guess this has been everyone's experience during their first couple of weeks in Tokyo.

Anyway, I am glad to be here and i do hope to get to know some of you in this forum.

Nakabuo kayo ng isang tool kung saan puwede tayong magkatulungan lahat para mas maraming magawang pagbabago na pakikinabangan nating lahat.

Gising na tayo sa katotohanan na mahirap ang bansa natin at dapat tayong magkaisa para maibangon ito sa pagkaapi at di lang ito dapat pag-usapan kundi dapat solusyonan hangga't maaga para ang mga anak natin at mga susunod na henerasyon ay itatrato ng mas mabuti kaysa sa atin. Paghandaan natin ang kinabukasan na iyon sana kasama ang mga taga-TF!:)
