anyone in TF who has the gift of writing, to draft a letter calling for a moratorium on all kinds of rallies in the Philippines, at least for some period of time (six months or more, or whatever).
dont get me wrong, TF friends, i am a Tibak (activist) at heart and in practice, and i do believe too that rallies and deomonstrations are important forms or venues for people to express themselves. i am freedom-loving and supportive of the gifts (and responsibilities) of a democratic form of government. but as much as i have so many reasons to list why i would want people in Pinas to at least take some rest from all these rallies, they are not important. from whatever sides of political spectrum (Pro, Anti, including all the balimbings), i think, people are just tired of all these rallies.
i am not saying that these should be banned for good. No! ours is an imperfect nation, and rallies and demonstrations are important in keeping us all reminded of our imperfect situation. kaya lang, parang OVER na. basta! siguro alam nyo kung ano ang feeling ko. but since, uso naman ang mga signature campaign, especially online, till it reach the concerned people, maybe someone from the TF can propose a draft (any from our fellow members and the moderators can possibly decide on it), and we start the campaign.
suggestion lang naman. i picked the idea from this news below:
