Type of Visa

Hello Guys,

Bago lang po ako dito sa Forum. I manage to run through this site since I was looking for guidelines on Visa application for Japan. Meron po kasing gustong mag-hire sakin sa Japan at pinatatanong nya kung anong type ng visa ang pwede kong kunin para mag-stay ng medyo matagal sa Japan.

I need to find out how and what kind of visa I can get to go to Japan, and how long I can stay there. I just want to get info about how to stay there as long as possible without having to leave the country (Japan).

BTW, I will be hired as a technical support for a certain electronics machineries.

Tyler,I think you're asking for "Status of Residence"in Japan,depende yan maraming category ang Visa or stay dito sa Japan.Kung Engineer ka,3 to 1 yr ang Visa.or Skilled worker ka,1 yr to 3 yrs,din yan depende yan sa employer mo or yong mag-sponsor sayo.hope makatulong ng kunti.

May nakaexperiece na ba sa inyo kumuha ng visa na ang reason ay business purpose. Naksaad kasi sa MOFA website ito for business purposes (such as market research, business liaison, business consultations, signing a contract, or providing after-sale service for imported machinery);

Kung meron po, ano po bang requirements para sa ganitong setup. Sige na po... please lang po... kelangan ko lang po talaga makakuha ng impormasyon tungkol dito.

Sabi mo kanyo maha-hired ka ng certain electronics company,yong company na yan ang mag-bibigay sayo ng requirements kung ano kailangan nila na dapat kunin mo.Are you Engineer?may categorya yan na ang Status of residende mo ay "engineer".kung Trainee ka,(研修員)or kenshuuin,nakalagay yan dyan sa visa ng residence status mo.Hmmm...pero teka mukha ang gulo ng mga tanong mo,Bakit kailangan mo kumuha ng Temporary Visa kanyo?or Temporary Visitor Visa ba Kanyo?Anyway sa unang tanong mo kung mahirap kumuha ng Temporary Visa my answer depende at mahirap, try mo punta ka sa Japan Embassy dyan sa Manila.Pwede ka kumuha ng Application dyan at naroroon ang mga sagot sa tanong mo at requirements.Goodluc k

ang problema ko kasi... foriegn company din magha-hire sa kin. meaning, nag-su-support lang sila sa Japan.

i think you can use this type of visa:

Engineering:
People who hold this visa have graduated from a university science or engineering department and will pursue work where they can make use of the skills and the knowledge they learned. The university may be either in Japan or in a foreign country.

Company internal transfer:
This visa pertains to the activities carried out by an employee of a foreign company, which has its main or branch office in Japan, who is transferred to Japan for a specified period of time. Work carried out in a so-called representative office is also included in this visa. This work is the same kind as that carried out by persons with engineering, humanities or social sciences or international business visas.

Hi Tyler.

First time kong pumunta ng Japan nuong 1998, I was on business (Visitors Visa) ang kinuha ko.

Requirement noon was invitation letter doon sa company nag nag-iinvite and their financial statement. Sa side ko naman, company ID, employment certificate, ITR at business registration certificate.

Madali lang ako nakakuha ng visa noon. I was here for 3 months only, yung company applied for my COE at the same time. Nung patapos na yung visa ko, na release yung COE.
