inviting your gf is same with the procedure on inviting your family or relatives. ang pagkakaiba lang eh don sa magiging invitation letter mo. then some proofs that gf mo talga sya like pictures na magkasama kayo, magholding hands or magkaakap po. then some love letters is also a plus. for the procedure on inviting relatives and the needed document, just search here. i think napakarami ng information here about it.
hope this help.:)

Your girlfriend can apply for a temporary visitor's visa. Please visit the Japan embassy in Manila website (a link on the main forum page is available) for the requirements. Please note, there is no guarantee your girlfriend will be granted a visa so please don't raise your hopes too high. The best thing to do is complete the requirements (hindi uubra yung 'puede na iyan' attitude when it comes to the requirements) and submit it to the embassy or through an established travel agent (they are now allowed to do so I read).

Ello po, dagdag lang po ako...
Provide all requirements needed by the embassy as stated in the visa requirements; plus some proofs that your gf is financially capable for the visit. Providing the embassy of her bank certificates, employment certificates, diploma and TOR are also better I think, even if you are the guarantor. Importante po na maestablish na financially capable siya at walang planong mag-overstay sa Japan. Kung may properties po (land titles, etc) under her name or in her family name, better po na iprovide ang copy.
Yung kinoconsider din daw po nila ang reason at ang intention for the visit :D So better to construct a very clear purpose of the visit to Japan...
