Hello fellow TF members,

I have planned to go back for good in the Philippines and subsequently migrating to another country. I still have a 3 yrs. Engr. visa.
1.] Do I need to surrender my ARC (Alien Reg Card) to the ward office or at the airport Immigration?
2] it says, as requirement for Pension lumpsum payment: you must have no residence or domicile in Japan. Without surrendering my ARC means I still have residence in Japan? Or at least I have an exit in Japan to get a refund/lumpsum payment.

Any input is appreciated.Thanks.

BR,
Hamlet

(unless you have a re-entry permit) yes you must return your Alien Registration Card to the immigration officers at the airport or port of departure .. by the way welcome to Timog Forum :)
