28% of men toil over 12 hours a day

The figure reached 33 percent for men in their 30s. This figure is not surprising to me, though the situation is not right.
But it is “atarimae” in Japan and in Korea.

If you look at office buildings at 9 o’clock, you will see there are lights all over the place.
It means some people are still working.
Even at 11 o’clock, some of the lights are still on.

They are workaholics.

The problem is only half is paid in full for over-time work.
It’s modern day slavery.

One example of this is my hubby! Actually di nga lang 12 hours pasok niya eh minsan 15 but ok lang may bayad naman overtime niya eh:D kaya hataw hakot sa sweldo:D

totoo po ito ~~~ my husband works almost 14 hours everyday ~~~ grabeh, ok lang sana kung mas lalakihan pa nila ang sahod nang asawa ko para hindi ko na kailangan pang magtrabaho:D

Pero madalas kung tinatanong sa asawa ko kung counted ba as over time, counted naman daw, pero may limit lang daw kung hanggang ilang oras ang over time nila, at lumalabas na kalahati lang halos ang nababayaran, lagi kung sinasabi, ang daya daya nila.

add on my husband in the list, now that we are miles apart, he works straight 7 days a week and leaves late too from work. Anyhow he is getting the full reward of his hard-toiled dedication at work.
