japantimes About 120 people, including non-Japanese residents, discussed and shared problems related to the education of their children, including bullying in schools and language troubles, at a Tokyo forum Sunday. It has also been reported that 20 to 30 percent of children of foreigners who have arrived in Japan in recent years do not go to school, urging the Japanese educational system to improve the language curriculum for non-Japanese students. Tungkol sa bullying,
Once I wrote that the ability to run faster than the others is the easiest way to avoid being bullied, but no one took my advice seriously.
I still believe it to be true.
In my observation, kids bullied have something in common.
It’s not because they can’t speak Japanese well.
It’s because they don’t resist.
It’s because they don’t fight.
It’s because they move slower than the others.
Bullies laugh at the victim and then if he chases them, they run away, knowing that they can outrun him.
Teachers don’t encourage violence so they don’t recommend such a thing, but I believe the only way to avoid being bullied is to fight, to quarrel.
In order to fight, at least you must be able to chase them to the end.

Nice & Relevant thread Mark_15 san.
