mainichi A dangerous time for making such assertion, Foreign Minister Taro Aso, reveals Japan could produce a nuclear weapon, should conflict ever arises that it needs to defend itself. This is in light of the recent North Korean nuclear and ballistic missile test-fires, which some in the Japanese government and ruling party members are taking serious thoughts of a high-level reappraisal. It is considerably alarming that in the on going parliamentary committee the possession of nuclear weapons are now being raised. Read here... The only way to urge other countries not to acquire nuclear weapons and give up their nuclear ambition, is for all the nuclear capable countries to dismantle their nuclear arsenal, and fight wars the conventional way. But I don't think that's gonna happen anytime soon.
Until then, there will always be someone seeking the ultimate weapon.
Oh well, it's a hypocritical world we are living in.
