It happened before.
In 1875, about 1500 people died in that region.
After some volcanic activities, ashes and debris were all over the place.
Then comes the heavy rain, then mudflow.
The situation looks similar.
Did the victims know about this?
Were they well informed of the danger?
Also, isn’ t there some connections to the cutting trees too much?
It happened in Indonesia, China, and in Philippines too.
Cutting too many trees is illegal.
Because it is dangerous when heavy rain comes.
The Chinese are willing to buy the trees even they know the unlawfulness.
Then, there were always people cutting and selling trees.
Was every preventive measure taken?
How come God let it happen?
Have they done anything wrong, any sinful thing, enough to be buried alive?
Many questions came to my mind, but none was answered.
All I know for sure is that I must pray more, even harder.
Because that’s the only thing I can do and I need to do.

I am just wondering why I haven't heard much help from the American military like the last time in Leyte, maybe because our help were refused? I don't know if people knew this but the navy ships that went there to help were refused permit to use the port. They were not allowed into Philippine waters. Later on, after days of waiting they were told that they can send only few representative with the goods, but the ships has to remain on international waters. All for politics.

the number of people missing and dead rose to almost a thousand according to the news yesterday. and the heavy rains brought by typhoon senyang, the latest typhoon that struck the bicol region, made the situation alarming again. wala na ba itong katapusan? two weeks from now will be christmas. it would be really a sad or no christmas at all for the survivors......and the families that lost their loved ones....
