I just took the level 4 JLPT....

i studied nihongo up to elementary 2 sa ncf

sa jlpt exam, ibang sentence structure and vocabulary, hindi ko pa na=encounter.

i thought if you study hanggang elem. 2, pwede na for level 4? :confused:

any insights?

well, as far as i know, u are capable to take 4kyuu if u already finished & passed elem1&2. then u can also take 3kyuu if u were able to finished & passed elem3&4.

regarding naman sa exam, according to phil-japan foundation, nag papalit/nagbabago ang set of questionaires ng exam every 3yrs. phil-japan inform the examiners too that u should broaden ur knowledge sa kanji not only for the level na kinukuha mo, meaning kahit na 4kyuu ung exam mo u should also try to study some 3kyuu level, kasi for sure lalabas at lalabas un. sa case ko naman nung nag exam ako ng 3kyuu 2yrs ago, may lumabas na kanji from 2kyuu. it is usual... kasi if u will try to read again the information for taking 4kyuu, nakasulat dun na u should know around 100 kanji but it didnt states na kung anu ano ung 100 kanji na lalabas for that level.

anyway, kanji is only 25% of the exam. makakabawi ka pa sa choukai(25%) & bunpo(50%).

actually , kanji wasnt my problem....

yun talagang vocabulary words in soem sentences, di ko talaga alam., like 'kousaten', 'ube'....


and sentence structure na may blank for a verb then at the end another verb.

i just didn't know it.
