Japan Airlines Corp will raise both domestic and international air fares next April despite recent falls in crude oil prices, JAL President Haruka Nishimatsu said Tuesday. Current fuel prices are still "extremely high," Nishimatsu said at a press conference. However, he declined to say by how much airfares would rise.

I checked the JAL website, and there is no official announcement yet about the news. Although i found out that they just lowered the fuel surcharge to 5, 400 yen from 6, 000 yen (makakamura tayo 600 yen :D ) for tickets purchase from January, 2007 because of "the recent fuel price has lowered" according to their website. Kaya ako rin ay naguguluhan sa balitang mag tataas na naman ang presyo sa April next year.
Alin ba talaga JAL ? :) Maybe better for us to wait and see.
