Finding a job in Japan is hard or easy depending on what skills you have, or if you can be content with menial jobs. If you are a college graduate with above-average oral communication skills in English, you might land a job easily as an English teacher. Check out gaijinpot.com for available positions.

hello everyone! i just joined this forum. nice to see we have this thing for pinoys in japan. i'm currently in yokosuka, kanagawa staying w/ my sis for a few mos. she's in the us navy.. i've been reading about teaching english here in japan and, like freegirl, i'm also very interested. we have the same dilemma though. i'm also an undergrad but i've been working in the philippines for 6 yrs as call center agent and cust care officer for smart communications. since i'm already here, i'd like to see the possiblity of working here although i'm currently on sofa status.. would appreciate any info from you guys.. thanks a lot! have a great day! :O
