yomiuri New rules banning money transfers of more than 100,000 yen at automated teller machines and requiring customers to show identification at bank counters came into effect Thursday. Under the new regulations, customers must confirm their identity with a driver's license or health insurance card when transferring sums greater than 100,000 yen over the counter. Read here.
