hello doc san.. ganda nitong thread mo.:) urong-sulong ako kanina pa.... ako, para sa akin as a member, paminsan-minsan parang hindi ako part nitong community, at di ko rin alam what will be my contribution for the development....kanya kanya tayo ng kuro-kuro or pananaw na sinasabi...pero, isa lang sana ang wish ko para sa lahat, sana magkaroon tayo ng tinatawag na "unity"....at sana alam din ng bawat isa kung ano ang ibig sabihin ng tinatawag na "community".....PEACE ON EARTH!:)

to date, been a member of this on line community for more than 3 months , feel na feel ko na i'm part of this community. With my simple way, and being one of the beterana here in japan i could share the sad & happy memories i had here which might serve others as guide for tracking life ahead. Yon nga lang, i'm always careful in posting since others might take it the other way around and be misunderstood . :p Community is sharing....so let's spare the good things we know to others.
TF is doing a great deed especially sa Nihonggo lessons ,it helps me a lot and i appreciate it very much.:)

With my membership here at Timog Forum, I feel I'm part of the community. I can say that my contribution for a community is to share my thoughts,ideas, and knowledge.It's a vice versa in a way that I myself, too gain additional knowledge and ideas with other members as well. Maybe the best way I can do as a member is to listen, give some advice, share ideas and thoughts.

Everyone of us have different ideas , thoughts and principle we have to respect each others point of view ...to lessen misunderstanding or misinterpretation between members.Let's make our community peaceful, enjoyable,progressiv e, and winj more friends.

neutral? if you are really claiming to be neutral, then you should have just kept mum bout the issues instead of turning a small issue into a big one. and why would you need to throw stones, if you are neutral? unless you really intend to, right?

thanks for pointing that out IT. i can also see fisher's point. okay, hindi natin siguro nagustuhan yung pagkakasabi nya. but then, sana bigyan din nating pansin gusto nyang sabihin and yung ibang posts na tinutukoy nya, na alam kong nababasa mo rin naman and alam kong naiintindihan mo ang ibig sabihin. and perhaps pwede mo ring punahin yon.

no walang martial law dito sa palagay ko. we are all free to speak out, but not to the point na makakasagasa tayo ng kapwa natin. and tulad ng sabi mo, mas okay naman talaga yung makakita ka ng company na komportable kang kasama. and having found such good company, sapat na siguro yon para maging masaya. hindi na siguro kailangan ang magsabi pa ng sa tingin natin ay hindi magiging komportable sa ibang makababasa. alam kong nababasa mo rin naman yung mga posts dito, and i know for sure naiintindihan mo yung mga tinutukoy sa sinasabi. what i'm not sure of is kung merong respeto don sa sinasabi. nakita na kita rodem don sa first tf eb na sinalihan ko. and i know you're a good man, and maiintindihan mong ibig kong sabihin.

Ok lang siguro kung magkaroon ng mga barkadahan sa TF, syempre pinipili naman talaga natin ang mga kaibigan natin. Pero syempre wag po sana tayong magsusungitan at magpaparinigan kasi minsan sensitive ang mga tao sa mga parinigan na yan.

Isa sa layunin ng TF sa palagay ko ay para maiconnect ang mga Pilipino sa Japan sa isa't isa, para tayo narin ang magtulungan sa isa't isa kung wala na tayong mahihingian ng tulong - mahirap kasi ang mag-isa dito sa Japan eh. Sa palagay ko naman nag-succeed na sa layuning ito ang Timog. Ngayon at naiconnect na tayo sa isa't-isa wag sana po tayong maghiwahiwalay ulit, sayang naman ang ginawa ng Timog para mahanap natin ang isa't isa. Masaya na magkaroon tayo ng circle of friends na comfortable tayo - ako rin namimili ako ng kaibigan - pero sana po wag natin i-close sa iba ang ating mga circles, bigyan po natin ng chance yung iba makasama sa atin. At yun namang hindi natin masyadong gusto, wag na lang po natin silang pansinin masyado, o kaya wag makipag-iringan para wag pag simulan ng gulo at tampuhan. Kapag sumama ang kaibigan natin sa ibang grupo hindi ibig sabhin na hindi na nya tayo gusto, siguro gusto lang niyang makilala yung iba.

Kahit na anong mangyari, ang importante dito sa Timog ay nagtutulungan tayo kahit na hindi man natin masyadong gusto ang member na tinutulungan natin. Masarap tumulong sa mga taong di natin kilala o kahit sa mga taong di natin masyadong gusto. Kung mamahalin o tutulungan lang natin ang ating mga kaibigan, ano pa ang dapat nating makuha sa ating kagandahang loob - automatic naman na mahal tayo ng ating kaibigan. Pero ang pinaka-mahirap na gawin ay ang tumulong at magmahal ng taong hindi natin kilala o gusto. :)

Frankly speaking... yan lang po ang kaya ko...:)

hindi naman po natin pinipili ang membership dito sa forum based on intellectual faculties (or the lack of it). anyone can register dito sa TF regardedless of sex, age, gender, etc. provided that the person willingly abides by the forum rules and regulations, i don't see a problem with his/her membership.

one of the aims/goals of this forum is to foster friendship/camaraderie among members who are based here in japan (or otherwise). i'd like to think na isang magandang support system itong forum para sa mga kababayan nating nandito na nagtratrabaho o naninirahan na dito. alam naman nating lahat ang lungkot na naidudulot ng pagiging malayo sa pamilya at mahal sa buhay. and yun ang isang balak tugunan ng forum na ito, your home away from home.

inevitable na magkaron ng sub-groups within a community. human nature na magsama sama ang mga members ng isang community based sa geographical location, common interests, family relation/interrelations, etc. but this doesn't mean na magiging hindrance ito sa isang online-based community gaya ng TF.

hindi naman kailangang maging isang genius para makapag contribute dito sa forum. agree ako sa sinabi mo; the mere fact na sumusunod ka sa regulations, maayos na makipag kapwa tao sa forum members at mag share ng kung
ano mang experiences is already enough contribution from any member.

i'd like to think na ordinary member din naman ako dito; nagkataon lang naman na ang mga mods ay may ibang extra duties pa.

kagaya rin ng sinabi mo; basic contribution ko na rin ang sumunod sa mga rules and regulations, ang maayos at tuwirang pakikipag kapwa tao.

the reason i started this thread is to get inputs from everyone; alam naman nating since lumalaki na ang TF, mas kailangan nating ma-improve ang quality and content ng forum so as not to be stagnant. kung baga, everyday should be a positive learning experience for everyone.

otherwise, pag naputol na ang growth...wala nang room for learning.

Hello! I am just a new member of Timog. Friend ako ni Neneng and she was the one who introduced this site. I think this is a very nice community. Filipinos anywhere in the world really excel in their own respective field. Kailangan magsama-sama tayo at magkaisa kung paano natin ma-uplift ang ating image dito sa Japan.

I really think that sharing in this community can help other kababayan na bago pa lang ditong namumuhay. They are lucky kasi nasa modern world na tayo not like noong panahon namin (that was about 22 years ago) ay hindi pa uso ang ganitong technology.

Ang payo ko lang sa mga kababayan ko na nakatira dito ay i-adopt natin ang ugaling Hapon na maganda. For example, ang kanilang greetings or aisatsu. Kapag nakasalubong mo ang isa sa mga kapitbahay o isang magulang sa school na pinapasukan ng anak ninyo, malakas na boses ng "Ohayo Gozaimas" na may smile ang i-greet mo sa kanila. Then, everything wll start from there!
