hello po, i second the motion. i read that too. i still have the book now. actually po, Erich Segal ang author. its inspiring din. saka sa mga hardship ng mga characters, makaka-relate tayo. i would never forget that i cried while reading it.

I will also suggest Pandora by anne rice. it has a love story, but in general, its about a vampire's life. maganda din.

BUt if you really want a bestseller and a guaranteed good book to read, choose a Sidney sheldon..

By the way, one dont need to buy books, english books are also available in public libraries. even japanese translated to english books like The Kabuki Dancer, Memoirs of a geisha.

yeah, Memoirs of a Geisha is pretty nice too! if u intend to watch the movie, i suggest you watch it first before reading the book... kasi ako, di ko masyado na-appreciate yung movie coz i read the book before it was filmed...the book is better...

another one, Sarah Dunant's Birth of Venus, a love story set in the renaissance period...

Nicholas Sparks ~he's a great author . He also wrote The Notebook and A message in a bottle which have both been made into films and I have watched them ..
I read "The Notebook" I've got to say, it didn't move me the way "A walk to remember did" and the same goes for the film.. :)
