As a basic requirement, both the Filipino applicant and his/her Japanese fiancee/fiance have to appear personally at the Embassy. Marriage" from his/her promoter in addition to the other requirements listed below:
Requirements for Filipino National - 1. Authenticated Birth Certificate (Original and 2 Copies) has to pass through

B. Malacanang (Authentication Office)
C. Department of Foreign Affairs (Authentication Section)
2. Certificate of Non-Availability of Record of Marriage (Original and one copy) has to pass through- A. National Census and Statistics Office
B. Malacanang (Authentication Office)
C. Department of Foreign Affairs (Authentication Section)
3. Original and one (1) copy of Authenticated Parental Consent (if Filipino National is 18-20 years old) or Original and one (1) copy of Authenticated Parental Advice (if the applicant is 21-25 years old). Authentication means passing through- A. Notary Public
B. Regional Trial Court
C. Malacanang (Authentication Office)
D. Department of Foreign Affairs (Authentication Section)
ask ko lang kung ilang months ang validation ng mga documents na ito?...yung friend ko kasi nagtatanong kasi magpapakasal sya this month...yung hawak nyang documents 4 or 5 months na mula ng na released sa pinas...valid pa kaya yun? pls help naman po mga katf
